Damien is a Master of Exercise Science in Strength and Conditioning and has extensive experience developing athletes from a range of sports both in Australia and on the International stage.
Damien has established various programs that effectively provides the athlete with a sequential physical development plan and allows the athlete to develop at their own pace. He is one of the few coaches worldwide to be considered as a Youth Athlete and Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) specialist. These systems have been adopted being key sporting organisations including AFL Victoria and Netball Victoria.
During his tenure’s with both the AFL Victoria State Academy (Victoria Metro) and TAC Cup side Calder Cannons, he has overseen the progression a large number of players into the AFL system. He has also worked as a development coach and line coach for the club at a variety of age group levels.
